Our Lady of the Lake is collaborating with Catholic Charities to support a refugee family from Ukraine in relocating to the Cleveland area.
Latest Update (11/10):
The plane tickets for the family have been purchased. The family will arrive at the end of November. After a long 21 hour day of traveling, the family will be greeted at Cleveland Hopkins Airport by members of our Welcome and Orientation Committee and driven back to their new home to rest.
After talking with the parents and presenting options, they have decided to have their children attend Our Lady of the Lake school since their house will be within walking distance. The Education and Language Committee is currently working with Jenny Millett, the school principal to make sure everything is in place for their first day.
With just a few weeks until the family's arrival, all of the Welcome Circle is busy making final arrangements so that our new neighbors have a smooth transition to Euclid!
