Remembering Who We Are And Who We Are Called to Be:

The Vision and Hope of Vatican II

Facilitated by Fr. Joe Fortuna

Recently it was reported that Pope Leo XIV has encouraged the College of Cardinals to return to the Documents of the Second Vatican Council and revisit the challenging and inspirational vision contained therein, asking how that vision may be rekindled in our day and age more than sixty years later.

In this same spirit, we will have the opportunity to do the same thing on a smaller scale and at the local level.

Evenings include prayer, presentation, conversation, reflection, and refreshments.

On the four Thursdays of March

7:00 pm to 8:15 pm

In the Church Hall

Fr. Joe will lead a presentation and discussion on four of the key documents of the Council.

Each session will examine some background to the document, provide an overview of its content, and engage those gathered in discussion of its meaning for  us today. The sessions will consider the documents in the order in which they were promulgated by the Council.

Session 1 - March 5

The Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy

Session 2 - March 12

Dogmatic Constitution on the Church

Session 3 - March 19

Dogmatic Constitution on Divine Revelation

Session 4 - March 26

Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modern World
