Pastor
Fr. Joe Fortuna has been pastor of Our Lady of the Lake Parish since it was formed in February of 2010.
A native Clevelander, he is a graduate of St. Ignatius High School, Borromeo Seminary, St. Mary Seminary. He was ordained a priest for service of the Diocese of Cleveland in 1980. In 1989 he received his Doctorate in Systematic Theology from the Catholic University of America, with a focus in Sacramental Theology.
After teaching full time at St. Mary Seminary for five years, he became pastor at Ascension of Our Lord Parish on Cleveland’s west side for nearly sixteen years, where he served until coming to Our Lady of the Lake Parish. In addition to his parish ministry, he continues to serve as adjunct faculty of St. Mary Seminary.
